Booking

Your booking is not secured until we receive your confirmation booking form and have received the reservation deposit. Do not book any travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of your booking. All costs quoted are VAT extra

Payments

Payments are accepted by Bank transfer or cheque.

A deposit of £400 will be taken to confirm the booking. The balance of the fee is due 4 weeks before the experience starts. If a booking is made less than 4 weeks before the start of the voyage, then full payment will be taken at that time.

What is Included

  • All safety equipment including optional lifejackets
  • Safety brief for guests on arrival
  • Drinks package (extra cost)
  • Mooring and fuel costs

What isn't Included

  • Any meals or refreshments taken ashore
  • Any onshore costs
  • Alcohol
  • Travel to and from the vessel.
  • Personal travel insurance
  • Protective clothing

If You Wish to Cancel

If you wish to cancel please notify us as soon as possible. If you cancel your booking at least 8 weeks prior to your experience, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you cancel less than 8 weeks prior but more than 4 weeks then your deposit will not be refundable, however we will refund the balance of your fee if it has been paid.

Your deposit, nor the fee will be refundable if you cancel your experience less than 4 weeks before the experience.

If you cancel an experience less than 4 weeks before the start of, or after the commencement of your experience then you will be liable for the full cost. In all cases, if we are able to resell your cancelled experience, we will reimburse you the full cost less the deposit.

You are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance to cover yourself should you need to cancel.

If We Have to Cancel

In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel due unusual and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, (Force Majeure), including bad weather, we will endeavour to offer an alternative voyage at a mutually agreeable date.

If we have to cancel a voyage due to any other reasons, e.g. mechanical failure, then a full refund or an alternative voyage will be offered.

In all cases our liability is limited to offering a refund only up to the amount paid and we will have no further liability to you in respect of consequential economic loss.

Amendment to Experiences where applicable

We reserve the right to make necessary amendments to any experience with regards to start/end destinations or planned itinerary. In the unlikely event of any changes, we will endeavour to contact you at the earliest opportunity.

All decisions of any amendments will be made by the Skipper and no refunds or liability accepted by Le Creux Corporate Boat Charters. The company will not be responsible for any cost of travel.

Health & Safety

Your safety is our primary concern. All our boats are equipped with safety gear in excess of that required by law and our boats are certified to operate commercially within The Solent. You will receive a full safety briefing at the start of the booking. You must agree to abide fully with the instructions of the skipper and the crew.

If you or any of your party suffer from any medical conditions that might affect their health and safety during the experience, e.g. Heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes or if you are on any medication that may be adversely affected by seasickness you must disclose it to us at the time of booking. This information will be held in confidence by us until the completion of your experience. Failure to disclose a condition could result in the affected crew being put ashore for their own safety. In this case we will not be liable for any refunds or expenses incurred.

We will endeavour to fulfil any reasonable requests the voyage crew may have, however in all these matters the skippers decision is final.
We welcome all ages aboard, however must be accompanied by adults

Insurance

Le Creux is covered by professional insurance that includes third party liability. This does not cover you for any loss or damage to your property not attributable to our negligence or defects in the vessel. We strongly recommend you take out your own travel insurance to cover as a minimum, medical and personal accident expenses, loss and damage to personal effects and cancellation

Data Protection

We will not pass your details to any third party company, however your details will be held for our own marketing purposes. We may contact you and/or your guests from time to time to communicate any offers and news from Le Creux.

Stag/Hen Parties

Boating in The Solent offers good transport links and parking, we offer an unforgettable experience for stag & hen parties. Turn your weekend into an adventure. We will utilise as many boats that are required with a mixture of RIBS and motor boats to accommodate the number of guests you have.

Depending on your ambition, our typical package departs from Lymington with a lunch stop at The Hut restaurant on the Isle of Wight returning to the mainland around 5pm to continue with your celebrations.
